This is the vintage sconce your wall needs! Its star is a green glass insulator made in the 1920s by the Hemingray Company. This charming piece will brighten your hallway, bathroom, or serve as your bedroom reading light. The sconce attaches to a wall stud with one screw. The glass insulator was originally used on telegraph and telephone wires. The glass is embossed with HG. CO. and the word Petticoat.
The On/Off rotary switch is located on the cord and has a plug for power.
The refinished oak mount is 4” x 5”.
Each piece is embossed with the artist’s initials.
